Not-for-profit organisation website
We were really delighted to provide this website for a local community centre, a clear and easily navigable presentation of all they offer to the local community.
It was really important that the site be easily navigable and readable for the centre's clientele. We found a template that was incredibly clear and simple, increased the font sizes just a tweak, and split the content up into easily navigable sub-pages.
It's a genuine pleasure to create a user-friendly website for a not-for-profit organisation, when other web designers they enquired with wouldn't even quote on 'such a small job'!
"The website is looking great. I am really happy with the way it looks, I agree with you, it is clean, straight forward and most importantly... easy to navigate! Well done & Thank you!"
Bettina Hockey wanted to take her business to the next level, and to a whole new customer base, with an online shop. She also wanted a polished online showcase for her beautiful products and art. It was fairly easy to fulfil that part of the brief, with wonderful images of her creations to play with.
One thing she had trouble with was envisaging how to 'brand' everything she did and bring it under one umbrella - art, felt making and classes at community groups and schools. We solved that problem by having a page for each aspect of what she does, a home page with an elegant and succinct introduction, and a consistent 'look' throughout the site.
As you can see from her comments below, Bettina felt we added value in the content writing too. It's often hard to write about what you do yourself, and takes an outside eye and copy-writing experience to put it into words that create maximum appeal.
"I really love the text! I could have never written it so beautifully and confidently!
"The website is fantastic!"
